About
Niu Electric LLC is a family-owned and operated electrical contractor based in San Diego, licensed in California under CA C-10 Contractor License #984005.
Our culture
Every job starts with a plan to send everyone home the way they came. We walk the site before we start, talk through the hazards as a crew, de-energize whenever we can, and stop to reassess when conditions change. No deadline is worth cutting that corner.
We price what we see, put it in writing, and call you before anything changes. On public work, that means accurate certified payroll and paperwork filed on time. When we say we'll be there, we're there.
We build to code and to the standard we'd want in our own homes: clean, organized panels, labeled circuits, tidy job sites, and a final walkthrough before we call a job done.
Our history
Sai Niu is a San Diego native. He graduated from Oceanside High School in 1987 and earned a football scholarship to San Diego State University, where he played for the Aztecs and completed his degree.
After SDSU, Sai traded the field for the trade. He entered the ABC electrical apprenticeship program and learned the work from the ground up: the hours, the code, and the discipline it takes to do it right. With that foundation, he founded Niu Electric LLC.
The habits that carried him through football still run the company today: show up prepared, work as a team, and finish what you start. Niu Electric is a family business, built on Sai's name and run with the same pride.
