Electrical emergency? Call (858) 731-6233

If there is fire, smoke or someone is hurt, call 911 first. Don't use the online form for emergencies.

01

Troubleshooting

Tripping breakers, dead outlets and flickering lights are symptoms, not the problem. We trace the circuit, test it, and find the actual cause, whether that's an overload, a loose connection, a failed device or damaged wiring.

What's included

  • Breakers that trip or won't reset
  • Dead outlets, circuits and lighting
  • Flickering or dimming lights and voltage problems
  • Warm outlets, switches or panels and burning smells
  • GFCI and AFCI devices that keep tripping
  • Equipment that won't start or keeps shutting down

02

Repairs

Once the cause is found, we repair it properly and to code. We explain what failed and why, and recommend what to do if the problem is likely to come back.

What's included

  • Wiring, conduit and junction box repairs
  • Receptacle, switch and device replacement
  • Breaker and panel component replacement
  • Fixture repair and replacement
  • Damaged or overheated connection repairs
  • Code corrections from inspection reports

03

Emergency response

Some electrical problems can't wait. Power loss to critical equipment, sparking, burning smells, water near electrical equipment, and damage from storms or vehicle impacts all need to be made safe quickly.

Call us to make the situation safe, restore power where possible, and plan the permanent repair. If there is fire, smoke or someone is hurt, call 911 first.

What's included

  • Power loss to buildings, equipment or critical circuits
  • Sparking, arcing, smoke or burning smells
  • Water intrusion near panels or equipment
  • Storm, accident and vehicle-impact damage
  • Making the area safe and restoring power where possible
  • Permanent repairs after the emergency

Upgrades & additions

Service calls often turn up an outlet that's in the wrong place or a circuit that's carrying too much. We handle the small additions and upgrades that make a building work better.

What's included

  • Added circuits and receptacles
  • New or relocated lighting
  • Panel and breaker upgrades
  • Surge protection
  • EV charger circuits
  • Safety and code upgrades
